She was predeceased by: her daughter Robin Denise Poore; her parents, Jerry Thomas "J. T." and Myrtle Gray Turner; and her sister Donna Sue "Susie" White. She is survived by: her son William Burd of Hodgenville; her siblings, Diane Warren (Dale) of Magnolia and Jerry Wayne Turner (Peggy) of Buffalo; and her son-in-law Jimmy Poore of Hodgenville. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
