He was predeceased by: his wife LaVanna "Cricket" Bowen; his parents, Samford Bowen and Gertrude Cruse Bowen; and his sister Anna Mae Gardner. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Milby (Harvey) of Hodgenville, Vanessa Combs (Robert) of Hodgenville and Chuck Bowen (Peggy) of Hodgenville; and his brother Marvin Curry (Joyce) of Ohio. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
