He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Byrd and Rosie May Mauk Byrd; and his siblings, Tom Byrd, J. D. Byrd, Jim Byrd, Mary Neal, Agnes Neal and Darlene Byrd.
He is survived by: his brother Joe L. Byrd (Sharon) of Hiseville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
