It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Callebs of Hinkle, Kentucky, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Smith and Flora Jordan Smith; her husband Dotson Callebs; and her siblings, Ralph Smith, Polly Cooper, Lorene Jones and Sallie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Callebs (Sheila) of Girdler, John Dutton Callebs (Lisa) of Hinkle, Sherry Smith (Steve) of Hinkle and Doug Callebs of Hinkle; her grandchildren, Johnathan Callebs, Ashley Carter, Heidi Jackson, Adam Smith, Cody Smith and Lori Robinson; her great grandchildren, Braylee Callebs, Raegan Jackson, Charli Ann Jackson, Kallie Jane Robinson, Carter Smith, Aubree Callebs, Caleb Smith, Maddix Carter, Bentley Carter, Kensley Smith and Eli Robinson; her siblings, June Gambrel of Rising Sun and Oakley Smith of Norwood; and her close friend Judy Mitchell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
