She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mills and Mary Wagers Mills; her son Arvil Rodney Messer; her great grandchild Andrew Jackson; her brothers, Cleveland (Lynn), Estil, Frank and Joe Mills; and her brothers-in-law, Billy Eversole and Sonny Daniels.
She is survived by: her husband Arvil Messer of Hinkle; her daughters, Martha Jordan (Derrick) of Hinkle, Cathy Bunch (Dale) of Hinkle and Debbie Jackson (Larry) of Gray; her sisters, Jane Daniels of Hinkle and Gracie Eversole of Hinkle; and her grandchildren, Raven Engle (Kyle), Adam Jackson, Christian Bunch (Alexus Smith), Dalton Bunch (Bry McCombs), Payton Jordan and Raymond Smith.
