He is survived by: his children, James Kenneth Hicks of Garrett, Kentucky and Ann Marie; his grandchildren, Joshua C. Hicks, Amanda H. Dill, Trishanna "Nikki" Duncan, Tiffany Hicks, Michel Hicks and Lucas M. Bills; his son-in-law Harold; his daughter Jessica Slone Hall; and his sister Ramona Ousley of Hippo, Kentucky.. He is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren.
