He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Howell and Flora Howell; his daughter Cindy Renee Howell; and his siblings, Willie Howell, Eva Newell and Geneve Velker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard "Rick" Howell of Grethel, Robert Howell of Harold, Lona Hensley of Grapevine and Naomi Gilliam of Sandy Hook.
