He was predeceased by: his wife Luvilla Kiser Smith; his parents, Dennis Smith and Herma Huff Smith; and his siblings, Elmer Ray Smith, Darrell Smith, Ina Faye Wicker, Phyllis Conley and June Conley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Thomas (Norman), Kimberly Terry (Keith) and Tonya Lawrence (Robbie); and his sisters, Joyce Watts, Jessie Cornett and Brenda Kay Brewer. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren A host of Nieces, Nephews.
