She was predeceased by: her parents, Carman Mullins and Myrtle Cook Mullins; her husband Grover Slone; and her brothers, Doyle Mullins, Leeroy Mullins, William Mullins and Arnold Mullins.

She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Slone, Mathew Slone, Steps-Sons, Eddis Slone (Linda), Charlie Slone, Robert Dean Short (Linda) and Rudell Slone (Barb); and her siblings, Vernon Mullins, Fairley Mullins, Dennis Mullins and Joyce "Money" Collins.
