He was predeceased by: his parents, Clabe Slone and Annie Thacker Slone; his wife Sally Ann Hughes Slone; his son Dencil William Slone; and his siblings, Elveda Slone, Silba Jacobs, Coreana Slone, Billy Ray Slone, Delbert Slone and Demas Slone.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Anne Slone; his siblings, Laurita Slone, Hancel Slone and Winford Slone; his nephew Paul Slone; his grandsons, David Dwayne Slone and Ricky Daryl Slone; and his great grandchild Host.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses, Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, Kentucky in care of arrangements.
