He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Cornett Childers; his children, Chuck Childers (Kim), Leah Childers and Cindi Fugate (David); his grandchildren, Lindsey Hall (JK), Emma Fugate, Laynee Fugate, Caleb Childers and Ian Childers; his great grandchild Joshua David Hall; and his siblings, Talmadge Childers and Paula Rollins.
