He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Amburgey and Odie Vance Amburgey; and his siblings, Harold Amburgey, Homer Amburgey, Fadis Amburgey, George Amburgey, Patty Stewart, Janice Taylor, Elsie Sturgill and Ilene Taylor.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rayburn Amburgey, Burnis Amburgey (Helen) and Attie Jane Taylor. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Hindman Chapel (125 Parks Rd, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In Lieu of flowers family has requested donations to be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
