It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scoby Lloyd McClanahan (Hillsboro, Kentucky), who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Test" McClanahan and Pearlie Rickett McClanahan; and his siblings, Walter Elwood, Russell, Ernest Rufus "Hoop", Emril, Tommy McClanahan, Loretta McClanahan, Rose Ella McClanahan, Sudie Lewis and Ruth Hitch.
He is survived by: his wife Gearldine Johnson McClanahan; his son Jeff McClanahan of Flemingsburg; and his sister Iva Jewell Thompson of Maxey Flat, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
