He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pettit and Josephine Pettit of Grange City; and his siblings, Tresia Swain of Morehead and Anthony Pettit of Grange City. He is survived by: his children, Travis Pettit of Morehead and Lacy Pettit of Lexington; his sister Melinda Rollins (James Rollins) of Mt Sterling; his former wife Regina Pettit of Morehead; his brother-in-law Adrian Swain of Morehead; his nephews, Gabe Swain of Mexico City and Luke Swain (Allison) of San Francisco, California; and his grandchildren, Sophia and Hunter Pettit of Morehead.
