With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Maddox of Hillsboro, Kentucky, born in Maysville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 29, 2022 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Barbour Russell "Bob" Maddox; his sister Beverly Carol Maddox; his stepfather J. B. Shannon; and his stepbrothers, Rocky Faris and Bobby Faris.
He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Lytle Shannon; his daughter Alishia Rankin (Matthew); his grandchildren, Taylor Corbin, Whitney Sweet and Ben Sweet; his pet Harley; his sisters, Debbie Shrout and Mickey Hickle (Rick); his stepmother Caroline Faris Maddox; his stepbrother Gary Shannon (Kim); and the mother of his child Delilah Jeanine Maddox. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
