She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Johnson and Francis Stacy Johnson; her husband Thomas "Tommy" McClanahan; her son Thomas Lee McClanahan; and her siblings, Audrey Johnson, Sidney Johnson, Harry Johnson and Charles Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita; her son-in-law Marion Story of Hillsboro; her sisters, Eveline Mayse of Rowan County, Judy McClanahan of Fleming County and Van Donahue of Fleming County; and her grandchildren, Amanda Maynard, John Story, Candy McClanahan, Dalton McClanahan and Auston Brierley. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
