With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Fern Lewis of Hillsboro, Kentucky, who passed away on March 16, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Milligan Black and Sarilda Margaret Royce Black; her siblings, Robert Black, James Milligan Black, Marvin Clay Black, Nina Mae Conley, Anna Lee Lovejoy and Olive Ingle; and her husband Durward B. Lewis.

She is survived by: her children, Rickey Lewis (Katha) of Hillsboro, Glennis B. Lewis of Hillsboro and Gekita Fawns (Kenny) of Owingsville; her grandchildren, Chad Williams, Tracy Vice, Eric Lewis, Ashley Glover, Glennissa Lewis, Whitney Caskey, Cody Wayne Lewis, Lacy Fawns and Trinity Cooper; her sisters, Daisy Odell Weaver of Bradner and Margaret DeHart of Flemingsburg; and her caregiver Donna Jent. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
