He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Whisman and Doris Easton Early; his wife Judy Ellen Ball Whisman; his son Danny Ray Whisman; and his siblings, Kathy Whisman Emmons and George Monroe Whisman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Ann Pyles of Flemingsburg and Amy Elizabeth Henderson (David) of Salt Lick; his grandchildren, Charles Herbert "Chase" Whisman of Ewing, Cody Pyles of Morehead and Audrey Pyles of Flemingsburg; his great grandchildren, Daniel Ray Whisman and Raelynn Whisman; and his siblings, Mary Hamilton of Sunman, Nannie Manning of Flemingsburg and Tommy Whisman (Wilhemenia) of Flemingsburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
