He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Eugene Slone and Nettie Kathryn Barker Slone; and his siblings, James Earnest Slone, Ronald Eugene Slone, Patsy Kay Slone and Rocky Dale Slone.
He is survived by: his wife Leslie "Pepper" Quesinberry Slone; his children, Nyoka Kaelene Sexton (Elijah) of Morehead, Chelcee Desarae Slone of Hillsboro, Dawson Dakotah Slone of Hillsboro and Caleb Joe Slone of Lexington; his grandchildren, Gabby and Abram Sexton; his siblings, Danny Ray Slone of Louisa, Robert Franklin Slone (Mary) of Olive Hill, Patricia Sue Hopson of Louisa, Kathie Mae McClelland (Don) of Blaine and Kevin Gene Slone of Grayson; his son Dalton Gabriel White of Morehead; and his close friend Dr. Charles M. Derrickson of Morehead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; extended family, including his church family, and many friends.
