He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ova and Clora Smith (Hubbard); his wife Evelyn Smith (King); his brothers, Ancil Lee Smith, Harvey Andrew Smith, Elijah Coleman Smith, Lawrence Elbert Smith and Eldon Smith; and his daughter Dianna Rae Greggory.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicky Hamilton of Ryland Heights, Kentucky; his brother-in-law Robert Hamilton of Ryland Heights, Kentucky; and his siblings, Marshall Aaron Smith of Birmingham, Alabama and Opal Maebelle Smith of Warner Robins, Georgia.
