He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rosemary Chaplin Hurt; his children, Janet R. Redd (Robert) and Richard N. Hurt (Kim); and his grandchildren, Andrew Nicholas Hurt (Hannah), Tabatha Nicole Hurt and Railey Michelle Redd.
