He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Sr and Kenneth Ridings, Sr.; and his siblings, Johnny Ridings, Ricky Ridings and Carol Craig.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ridings (Horn); his children, Matt Ridings (Carey), Ryan Ridings (Kriste) and Elizabeth "Liz" Melton (Chad); his grandchildren, Cooper, Jackson, Ava and Raylan; and his sisters, Martha Fahey, Lois Woolridge (Darrell) and Becky Lang.
