He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Gleason and Sallie P. Frederick Gleason; and his brothers, William "Sammy" Sams and Larry Gleason. He is survived by: his son Michael Gleason (Sarah Rihm); his siblings, Pam Gleason-Snyder, James Gleason (Mary) and Robert Gleason (Terry); his sister-in-law Kellie Gleason; and his significant other Deborah Hale-Kidwell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
