It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Joseph Thiem of Highland Heights, Kentucky, born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Henry and Emma Thiem. He is survived by: his wife Mary Joan Thiem; his children, David Thiem (Heidi), Gayle Thiem, Caryl Schawe (Bill), Gary Thiem (Susan) and Jay Thiem (Kim); and his sisters, Marian Jacobs and Joann Allspach. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren.
