He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Pitzer and Irma Pitzer; and his son Danny. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Pitzer; his children, Joe Pitzer (Carol), Paul Pitzer (Kathy), Mark Pitzer (Kathleen), John Pitzer (Michelle), Jim Pitzer (Robyn), Sally Pangallo (Rocky) and Peggy Ewing (Bob); and his sister Carol Luther (Ken).
