He was predeceased by: his parents, Hays Sr. Smith and Viola Smith. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Sue Henry Smith; his son Adam Hays Smith; and his sisters, Alma Nell Burris and Gladys Ann Bowling. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
