He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Richard "Rick" Bersch Jr.; his wife Louise Bersch; his daughters, Diana Heidelberg and Beverly Bersch; and his grandsons, Tom and Chad Heidelberg (Nicole). He was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
