It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Beard of Hickory, Kentucky, born in Boaz, Kentucky, who passed away on November 21, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Beard and Dorothy Howard Beard; his wife Judy Purcell Beard; his son Dennis Beard; his brother Roy Beard; and his grandson Drew Beard.
He is survived by: his son Duane Beard (Dacia) of Hickory; his sisters, Patricia Wood of Paducah and Martha Eicholtz of Paducah; and his grandchildren, Danyiel Beard, DeLara Cherry (Thomas), Darlene Paschall (Ashton), DeAnna Beard, Daniel Beard, Amanda Fakhoorian (Scott) and David Beard. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
