He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Wright and Kathleen Wright Wilkowski; and his brothers, Jimmy Dale Wright, Edison Lee Wright and Eddie Lynn Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Wright of Hickory; his daughters, Jeanna Kendall (Melvin) of Paducah and Sabrina Wright (Eric Varner) of Hickory; his sisters, Anita Richardson of Michigan and Kathy Ann Cook of Michigan; his grandchildren, Erica Suiter of Mayfield, Trevor Kendall of Paducah and Macy Kendall of Paducah; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Suiter and Callie Goatley.
