It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Markle of Hickman, Kentucky, born in Fulton, Kentucky, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward and Essie Ozell Markle (Bowlin); and his siblings, Mary Edgin, James Markle, Bobby Markle, Franklin Markle and Edward Markle.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Markle (Stanfield) of Hickman, Kentucky; his daughters, Becky Uzzle (Bryan) of Central City and Stacy West (Michael) of Hickman, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Brittany Baxter (Luke) of Florence, Bradley Uzzle (Brooke) of Bremen, Javin West (Madison) of Clinton and Jarett West (Carly) of Union City; his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Jae West, Landyn Baxter, Clint Uzzle, Cayson Baxter, Sawyer Uzzle, Kohen West, Jett West and Aubrey Uzzle; and his sister Bethel Smith of Missouri.
