He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Murphy and Mary Doyle Murphy (Baxter); his grandson Gage Colby Murphy; and his brother-in-law Bruce Carter. He is survived by: his wife Martha Sue; his sons, Barry Murphy (Rita) of Tompkinsville and Randy Murphy (Jennifer) of Tompkinsville; his sister JoNell Carter of Louisville; his grandsons, Trenton Murphy (Ashley) of Ocala, Trevor Murphy of Hudson, Brooks Murphy (Haley), Sawyer and Braden Murphy; and his stepgrandson Grayson Harlan (Kelsey). He is also survived by Six great-grandchildren, three step-greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to Baxter Cemetery in honor of John Kelly, those may be made at the funeral home.
