He is survived by: his wife Evie Jewell "McClard" Birge of Tompkinsville; his son Randy Birge (Amanda) of Tompkinsville; his granddaughters, Makayla Birge of Adolphus, KY and Aleda Smith (Garrett) of Tompkinsville; and the mother of his child Margie Wood of Tompkinsville.
