With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Georgia Finchum of Herndon, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Georgia left this world on December 13, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Newman Farmer and Emma Elizabeth Lyle Farmer; her husband Joseph F. Finchum; and her brothers, Emmett Farmer, Garland Edward "Sonny" Farmer and Dade Farmer.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Terry Finchum (Diane) of Herndon, KY and Rita Fay Finchum Green (Joe) of Herndon, KY; her sisters, Cheryl Candler (Dallas) of Hopkinsville, KY and Ruth Farmer (Jackie) of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren, Kyle Finchum, Chad Finchum (Nicole), Gabriel Green and David Green; and her great grandchildren, Tristen Finchum and Jubilee Finchum.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home (2504 S Virginia St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Pennyroyal Hospice.
