It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Elijah McFarland (Henderson, Kentucky), who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cooksey MacFarland and Elizabeth L. Tillerson McFarland; his wife Carlene Cables-McFarland; and his siblings, Lucy F. McFarland, James A. McFarland, Catherine McFarland Jackson and Jerome McFarland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tausha Harris (Aaron) and Rhonda Quinn (Fred); his stepchildren, Lucretia Smith, Roy Cables, Deirdre Cables, Tracy Beckett, Ricky Cables, Darryl Roberts and Denise Young; and his siblings, Mary Langley, Alberta Young, John Earl McFarland (Carmalita) and Anthony McFarland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was a resilient man who survived Covid19 and other health challenges.
