Velda Minton Obituary
The world bids farewell to Velda Minton of Henderson, Kentucky, departing on November 18, 2024 at the age of 101. Velda leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Velda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Velda's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Bradburn and Ira Lee Bradburn. She is survived by: her children, Edward A. "Tony" Minton and Dianna Waggoner; and her granddaughter Christy Skaggs (Brian). She is also survived by two great-granddaughters; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home (604 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420).
Contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church or Friends of Audubon, both of which were dear to Velda's heart.
