We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2024, at the age of 100, Vada Carter of Henderson, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivor Andrew Shelton and Mary Vandiver Shelton; her husband James A. Carter; and her brother Readis Shelton. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Cope (Karl) of Henderson and James Michael Carter of Madisonville; her grandchildren, Chris Gardner and Julie Stone-Gibson; her great grandchildren, Dylan (Kara) and Eric Gardner; and her great great grandchildren, Caleb, Casey, Audrina Gardner, Cameron and Jackson Gibson.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice in Henderson.
