He was predeceased by: his mother Suzanne "Sue" Meek Beckert; and his parents-in-law, Malcolm and Barbara Neel. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his daughters, Helen Brannigan (Michael) of Indianapolis, Evelyn "Evie" Beckert of Boston and Anne Beckert of Cincinnati, Ohio; his granddaughter Isabelle Brannigan; his father Lawrence "Larry" Beckert (Judy) of Maumee, Ohio; his sisters, Linda Mahoney and Julie Beckert of Toledo, Ohio; his niece Lauren DeAcetis (Dennis) of Port St; and his cousin Richard Meek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and close friends.
