He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Leroy and Etta Elizabeth Barron (Hampton); his wife Dorothy Barron; his son Ron Barron, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Christine Vaughn, Etta Jenkins and Richard Ray Barron.

He is survived by: his children, Sharron Enlow (Ron) of Henderson and David Barron (Mary Sue) of Henderson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
