He is survived by: his wife Paula Abell; his children, Jarred Gist, Anthony "Bugg" Pollard and Hayley Goatee (Kent Maddux); his granddaughter Magnolia Maddux; his children, Joshua Abell and Keely Smith (Dale); his grandchildren, Lochlan, Duncan, Hamish and Reba; and his sister Kathi Abell. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
