He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilbert Schmutzler and Cathleen Schmutzler (Dorothy Schmutzler); his son Michael Schmutzler; and his brother Steve Schmutzler. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Ann Perrone (Peter) of Henderson, KY and Samuel Schmutzler of Evansville, IN; his brothers, Jim Schmutzler (Dorcas) of Chambersburg, PA and Joe Schmutzler (Bev) of Huntingburg, IN; his grandchildren, Felix Perrone (Christine), Dottie Perrone Broadhurst (Spencer), Angela Perrone, Casey Schmutzler, Corey Schmutzler and Tommy Schmutzler; his great grandchildren, Aurora and Freya Broadhurst; and his friend Bob Eble of Boonville, IN.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
