He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Mae and George Ira Tapp; and his brother Lee Otis Tapp. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Slaughter Tapp; his children, Dawn Isonhood (Jim) of Henderson, Kentucky and Mike Tapp (Kim) of Nashville, Tennessee; his sisters, Mary Cannon of Henderson, Kentucky and Alice Thompson (Charlie) of Henderson, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Ashley Kietzman (Chad), Jake Isonhood (Jessica), Danielle Zygmunt (Alex) and Katie Tapp; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Casen, Harrison and Callee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
