She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Gant and Pauline Gant (Carter); her son Michael Gant; her siblings, James Ray, Jimmy Ware (Carolyn), Ben Gant, Jr., Mattie Gant, Jacqueline Easley (James), Bertha Louise Gant, John Gant (Ann) and Delores Gant; her grandson Decarlo Cleveland; her nephew Terry Carter; and her nieces, Lana Rapier, Margaret Easley and Irene Burton.
She is survived by: her sons, William Leachman (Diane) and Joseph Gant; her granddaughter My'teka Cleveland; and her sister Ervinia Gant. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins.
