He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Coomes and Virginia Denton Wills; and his brother William Joseph Coomes. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Tucker (Chuck) of Henderson, KY, Maria Perez (Adam) of Henderson, KY, Krista Massey (Curtis) of Madisonville, KY, Richard Coomes of Tennessee, Larry Coomes (Bridget) of Evansville, IN and Chad Coomes (Jennifer) of Evansville, IN; and his brother Ronnie Coomes of Henderson, KY. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
