She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Head and Ruby Head; her husbands, Bob Wilson and Barry Blanford; her sister Teddy Kaye Lynn; her daughter Jimmie Joe Capps; her nephew Chris Cook; and her grandson Hunter Shields.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Dossett (Kent) of Henderson, KY and Karen Wilson (Stanley Shields) of Henderson, KY; her brother Roy Joe Head of Providence, KY; her nephews, David Cook and Tony Head; her niece Dana Pence; and her grandchildren, Christopher Shields, Kristen Dossett, Kent Robert Dossett, Casta Hedrick and Amanda Tillotson. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home (629 S Green St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
