She was predeceased by: her parents, Warnie Short and Zelda Boyd Short; her husband Larry Kenneth DeLong; and her brother Eugene Short. She is survived by: her son Dr. Mark DeLong (Tamra) of Henderson; her siblings, Beatrice Franklin of Fayetteville, Tina Preston of Louisville and Roger Short of Paintsville; her grandchildren, Hunter DeLong and Dr. Ariana DeLong Bailey; and her great grandchildren, Alden Bailey and Eila Bailey.
