She was predeceased by: her husband Allan Jones Kazee; her parents, James Dennis Clay, Sr. and Esther Cummings Clay; her grandsons, Mark Allan Kazee and Patrick Allan Kazee; her sisters, Martha (Edmund Mulligan) and Avalon (Joseph Toy); and her niece Linda Mulligan.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Wayne Kazee (Jan) and Duane H. Kazee of Fairview, Tennessee; her siblings, Elsie Catherine Townsend (Leon) of Frankfort, Kentucky and James Dennis "Sonny" Clay, Jr. (Patti) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her brother-in-law Phillip R. Kazee (Delores) of Oneida, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Troy Kazee, Karen Kazee and Meghan Kazee; and her great grandchild Wyatt.
