She was predeceased by: her husband James D. Vowels; her sons, Donald Vowels and Jerome Vowels; and her siblings, Mary Frances Strehle and James Frederick Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel L. Vowels of Henderson, James B. Vowels, Dennis R. Vowels and Carolyn Marie Beauchamp of Martin; her sister Elizabeth Jean Mills of Nashville; her grandchildren, Kyle Beauchamp and Greg Beauchamp; her great grandchild Alyssa Beauchamp; and her father Larry McBride. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
