She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Tyler and Margaret Louise Allen Tyler; her son Nathaniel Collins Jr.; and her siblings, Michell Tyler, George Tyler, James Tyler, Leroy Posey, Lucretia Burkins, Wanda Sue Carter and Betty Ann Outlaw.
She is survived by: her children, William Darnell Collins, Sheriennai Cruse (Paul), Margaret Bradley (Willie), Daisy Carter (Tracey), Debra Annette Collins, Phyllis Katina Collins and Sonja Trista Collins; her daughter-in-law Heather Collins; and her sister Mary Frances Tyler Carey. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
