He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Catherine Sawyer; his wife Charlotte Sawyer; his grandson Larry Dylan Sawyer; his siblings, Joseph Sawyer and Ruby Chappell; his parents-in-law, Pauline Skaggs and Wilbur Skaggs; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Beck, Carol Jean Swearer, Spencer Chappell, Richard Beck and Lee Skaggs.
He is survived by: his children, DeLania Denton, Paula Schriber (Carl) and Bradley Sawyer; his grandchildren, Jon Schriber, Zach Schriber, Adam Schriber, Jessica Schriber, Jeremy Denton, Joshua Denton and Brittany Kitchens (Cliff); his great grandchildren, Emma, Jonathon Schriber, Levi, Emily Kitchens, Shon Denton-Higgs, Macayla, Brody and Kathryn Denton; and his brother-in-law Larry Swearer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
