He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Bowling and Margaret Bowling; and his siblings, Robert "Ford" Bowling, Powell "Gene" Bowling, Hughes "Stokes" Bowling, Sherman, Susie Bowling Pearman, Nina Bowling Chavez and Beulah Bowling Chadwell.
He is survived by: his wife Terry Scheffer Bowling; his granddaughter Holly Bowling Barnett (Cameron); his children, Perry Bowling, Jody Bowling and Sherri Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Tiffany Green, Brooke Green and Alexis Savage; and his siblings, Roger Bowling, Elaine Staples and Marti Dixon. He is also survived by great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
